Website design has come a long, long ways in the last 10 years. Of course, as we developed more capability via the
internet it pushed the window to some new and exciting areas of electron bending.
But it's my thought that every website
must do two things:
1. Accurately reflect who you are; and
2. Be easy for the user to use
It's our thinking that as the internet has grown, it has become the host of many bad things. We want your clients to trust you
and your product or service. The best way we know to do that is follow points number 1 and number 2.
Your user will be comfortable with your site when they do not have to download numerous software applications, or answer
a lot of personal questions to gain access, and everything is spelt out and simple to follow. Afterall, isn't that what you look
for in a website?
Now with that said, we also feel that the use of the latest languages and styles is also important in your site. The use
of Flash has long been discussed and I assure you there is a time and place for it. In my opinion, the biggest problem
you face with the use of it ... is unless you update regularly (at least monthly) it becomes redundant and it may appear
the information on your site has not changed.
We have built sites for families to use to communicate with one another, large e-commerce sites, small business sites, non-profit organizations
and international companies; many of the goals and objectives of the site are the same:
- Load Fast
- Let me be able to see it in all browsers and versions of browsers
- Make the graphics look rich and alive
- Get me good placement in the search engines with my key words
- I want it easy to use
We can make all of this happen ... and happen to your liking.
